Probation Violations

Open Handcuffs Probation

When a probation violation is filed, you could be subject to the full sentence on the original charge on which your conviction is based. You are entitled to a hearing on the violations and the District Attorney must prove these allegations before you can be sentenced. Many times, even if you truly have violated the terms of your probation, a knowledgeable lawyer can help you minimize the consequences of the violation. If you are not in violation, your lawyer can conduct the hearing to ensure the Judge is able to see that the allegations in the complaint are false and should be dismissed. If you have a pending probation violation, Ms. Tran will assist you in litigating the complaint or negotiating a favorable outcome.
