Probation Violations
When a probation violation is filed, you could be subject to the full sentence on the original charge on which your conviction is based. You are entitled to a hearing on the violations and the District Attorney must prove these allegations before you can be sentenced. Many times, even if you truly have violated the terms of your probation, a knowledgeable lawyer can help you minimize the consequences of the violation.
